San Francisco

The day before Keith started Dental school we moved to California! And it has been so busy and so much fun (hence its now September and I've been meaning to catch up on my blog for three or four months) Keith and I have said numerous times that this move has been better than we could have even hoped it would be. We were excited for the new adventure, but we also were dragging our feet a little bit. We just knew that life couldn't always be as fun as Hawaii and summer vacation. I figured that once we moved life would get a lot harder, more boring and diffidently not as fun. But we have LOVED it! We love where we chose to live. We love our new ward and have made some really great friends. I just feel so grateful for all the people that have made this transition so fun. School is very busy, that part is true, but Keith is so good at school and is enjoying it.

A normal day looks like this- Keith wakes up at 5:10, I wake up with him and slowly get out of bed by 5:19. I hurry and make him breakfast and finish packing his lunch from the night before. We drive to the Bart at 5:32. Keith takes the 5:38 Bart to Powell and gets there at 6:23, works hard at school. I have a busy schedule, but I dont know what I do all week. Some days I nanny (I scored an awesome nanny job, making $20-22 an hour) I go to the city about two times and week and eat lunch with keith, hang out with friends down there and take keith home after school. Or I have a lot of baby appointments, hang out with ward friends up here, and look for furniture and baby stuff on craigslist haha. The days and weeks fly by.

I also took a 12 day trip to Utah and Texas in August. Alexis threw me the most beautiful baby shower. Im kicking myself for not taking any pictures. Everything she does is so yummy and pretty. I was so grateful for all the family and friends that came to support me and our little baby! And Jessica gave birth to Rocky Rampton!!! He is the cutest little baby you have ever seen and has a full head of blonde hair! He is such a good baby and makes me so excited to have mine.

I cant believe next month is October and Im having my baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Summer

The first 20 days of April we tried to soak in every last minute we had living on our little island paradise. Saturday April 18th Keith graduated top of his class. Im so proud of my smart husband. My mother in law came out to graduation (and to help move us out, she was so much help) It was sure fun having her in Hawaii with us. The next day was Keith's 24th birthday! Our ward sung us Aloha oi and it was so sad saying bye to so many great friends :(

The next night we flew to Utah (with 8 checked bags and 6 carry ons! I should have gotten a picture with all our bags!) We spent three fun weeks there and then flew to Colorado for a few weeks. Highlights included track meets, dance recitals, school plays, golf, weddings, Mother's Day, iron man in grand junction, helping move to the flying horse house, babysitting Troy, graduations, pueblo lake, and the Rockies game. Then we were back in Utah, with a quick trip to California in the middle. We ended our summer break with our annual Lake Powell Trip! Right before moving to California I had an Atkinson girls retreat in Park City. Summers always go by too fast.
